Neal and Brooke chose the First United Methodist Church for the ceremony and the Foundry Art Centre for the reception. The lighting in St. Charles church was amazing! Large clear windows from both sides provided natural light during the ceremony. This is a rare occurrence with a church ceremony.
St. Charles Main Street was the first stop for portraits. Kister Park is a popular location with gorgeous stone walls and a hilltop gazebo. We used the brick walkways for some fun candid images of the bride and groom.
The Foundry Art Centre was the location for the cocktail hour and reception. The bride and groom took full advantage of the surrounding industrial buildings and doorways for Bride and Groom portraits. This was so perfect and all within walking distance!
This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Foundry Art Centre and can say that it is now one of my most favorite wedding venues. String lights are hung above the Grand Hall creating an amazing atmosphere and photo backdrop. Brooke and Neal had been dating for close to 7 years, making for lots of fun stories at toasts!
It was so nice to see the Neal and Brooke let loose on the dance floor. The DJ had the floor full with guests dancing all night.
I am so grateful to be able to be apart of Neal and Brooke’s Day 1.
