Stunning Water’s Edge Retreat Wedding of Scott & Tori!

Two years, that is how long that Tori and I have been talking about their May 19th, 2018 wedding day.  Tori had reached out very early in her wedding planning because photography was a priority for her and Scott.  While everyone else was talking about Prince Harry and Megan Markle and it was their wedding day, I had to disagree.  Scott and Tori owned this day! ha ha

The couple chose The Water’s Edge Retreat located just outside Cape Girardeau. Surrounded by lakes, oak trees and blooming flowers, Tori stayed in a cabin on the property where she prepped for the wedding day.  I don’t meet too many brides that start their day with a fishing pole!  She informed me she had already been out that morning fishing and taking in everything that the Water’s Edge had to offer.

The ceremony had to be moved inside due to some rain storms that had moved in.  Thankfully the venue had a cute boat house to accommodate everyone.  As fast as the storm moved in, it moved out for a perfect sun-filled summer evening.
