Red roosters, a pair of yellow labs, a pond with a overhanding willow tree and the remanence of an outdoor fire.  That’s what I found when I visited Drew and Katie’s Mount Vernon farm for their engagement photos.  They wanted a location that meant something to them.  The couple had found the farm with a house in need a of a remodel.  I normally would not wish a remodel on a new couple.  But with Drew and Katie I found pride that came from them when they talked about their remodel project and the improvements they had made on their farm.  As a bonus Drew’s family had an antique couch on hand and where ready to move it to whatever location that I picked.  What a win!  I am so excited to photographer Drew and Katie’s June wedding.  Their reception will be held and CedarHurst in Mount Vernon.  I can’t wait to see these two exchange vows and celebrate with family!
